Himalayan cat color
The color of the Himalayan cat is characterized by the concentration of a contrasting color on the ears, face (mask), tail and legs. The body color of the Himalayan cat is uniformly light. The mask should cover the face, but not go to the top of the head. Only thin “paths” connect the mask to the ears.
In the color of the Himalayan cat, all colors typical of the Siamese cat can be present: chocolate, dark brown, red, lilac, bluish-cream, cream, tortie, lynx or striped. The paw pads and the tip of the nose should be in harmony in color with the marks.
Himalayan cat kittens are born white and short-haired, and the characteristic features are fixed only by 1.5 years.
